Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville in Hollywood, Florida is a convenient and casual location for great American food ANY time of day!
During our trip, we headed to Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville several times because the food is always GREAT and they offer many delicious options!
If you’re feeling flavorful American dishes in a modern and down to earth setting, then Margaritaville should be on your agenda!
You may have seen our brunch at Margaritaville but today I am here to give you all the insight on their awesome dinner dishes as well!
We started with Asiago Crab Dip ($13.99) which includes crab meat, artichokes, and asiago cheese all mixed together and baked to perfection! It’s served with toasted bread topped with melted asiago! Super addicting and flavorful.
The asiago is a unique twist on your typical crab dip, it was a delicious change and something we mayyyy have to bring back to MD!
As for entrees, we ordered Crispy Coconut Shrimp and Beach Tacos – these are probably two dishes we are notorious for ordering 🙂 #cantstopwontstop #welovetacos
For some reason, when I see coconut shrimp offered on ANY menu, it’s a dish I know I HAVE to try. These Crispy Coconut Shrimp ($19.99) WILL NOT disappoint! These jumbo shrimp have the perfect ratio of coconut to breading and are then fried golden brown giving a great CRUNCH.
Margaritaville serves the flavorful shrimp with a horseradish-orange marmalade that is an impeccable mixture of sweet and spicy! The dipping sauce is a great compliment to the coconut shrimp, and we highly advise using it!
While the shrimp are delicious without sauce, the marmalade brings them to the next level. No matter how good coconut shrimp are, they are ALWAYS better with a yummy dipping sauce.
Coconut shrimp are a MUST try at Margaritaville. It comes with 5 jumbo shrimp and fries so you will leave feeling happy and full!
Beach Tacos ($16.99) are served with your choice of carne asada steak or simmered chicken tingas and topped with queso fresco. On the side comes pico de gallo, guacamole #yum , key lime crema, and the standard black beans and rice. It seems black beans and rice are pretty typical with tacos.
The tacos come stuffed, have great texture, and are full of flavor!
The simmered chicken is very tender and the queso fresco adds a nice creaminess to the taco! However, the key lime crema didn’t add much but it was nice to have if we wanted to change it up or add a little sauce on top!
The tacos are definitely good but they are probably not a favorite MUST HAVE taco like we’ve had at other places!
Next time, I want to try the Jambalaya or Seafood Mac & Cheese – both sound amazing! #yum
Margaritaville is located within the resort so it’s casual and has a great view of the pool and ocean if you are sitting outside. There’s abundant seating but during rush hours there can be a wait! When staying at the resort, this restaurant should be #1 on your list when trying the resort restaurants!
They play Jimmy Buffet all day long so you can jam out while you drink Margarita’s and eat delicious cuisine! 🙂
